The Nikon FM2 is a fully mechanical 35mm SLR with interchangeable lenses, produced from 1982 until 2001.

Like the previous FM and FE models, this machine is built with a special aluminum alloy (copper silumin aluminum alloy) characterized by lightness, high resistance to corrosion and impact. The FM2 is a robust machine, completely manual, without any automation. The only battery present is that of the exposure meter.

Shooting is always possible, losing a photo is out of the question: the FM2 performs very well even in extreme situations, from the pole to the equator, to the desert. The technology used for this camera guaranteed its optimal use even with temperatures below 40 or above 50 degrees centigrade. The shutter curtains are made of honeycomb titanium .

The light meter is simple and of good quality, the manual focus system is precise.

Excellent shutter speeds range from 1 second up to 1/4000 s plus bulb. The x-sync for flash is the fast 1/250 s.

Used camera, shows normal signs of use but works perfectly.
