Horizontal-travel mechanical canvas shutter, shutter speed: 1 sec to 1/1000 sec plus B, flash sync at 1/60 sec, K bayonet mount

It is a very simple machine but built to last, robust and reliable.

It works with an LR44 battery that only powers the exposure meter, the rest is completely mechanical.

The K1000 was a particularly successful product and remained in production for over twenty years, probably one of the longest-lived SLR models.

This model was produced in Hong Kong and is completely made of metal unlike the later productions built in China which had plastic parts.

Excellent aesthetic and mechanical conditions, working light meter.

Equipped with Pentax A 50mm f2 lens and Pentax-A 28-80mm f3.5/4.5 macro zoom and original shoulder strap.
