Polaroid SX-70 1972
The SX-70 is a folding single-lens reflex camera.
It was the first instant SLR in history and the first camera to use Polaroid's new integral print film, which developed automatically without the photographer's intervention . This was revolutionary at the time and a precursor to today's 600 film.
The SX-70 features a folding body design, a 116mm f/8 4-element glass lens, and an automatic exposure system. The camera allows manual focusing up to 26.4 cm (10.4 in.) and has a shutter speed range of 1/175 s to over 10 seconds. The top of the dial contains two adjustment wheels. The right one is used for focus, the left one for brightness control.
Compared to other versions, this model has the possibility of using a shoulder strap thanks to the two spools on the back of the camera and has a hole on the bottom for the tripod.
