Rollei 35 Black Zeiss-Rollei Tessar 3.5/40 lens

Thanks to the revolutionary design of Heinz Waaske, the first Rollei 35 appeared in 1966 in direct competition with the half-frame format introduced in 1961.

As a 35mm camera barely larger than a pack of cigarettes, the Rollei was a great commercial success, selling millions of units. Almost every aspect of the camera was specially designed with the aim of making it as compact as possible. The shutter was made by Compur but to a design by Waaske which allowed the use of a folding lens. Gossen supplied the CDS meter used to save space.

The machine works perfectly, it only has a few small aesthetic imperfections (very small spots due to deterioration of the paint).

Unfortunately it does not have a cap
